Role
Helion is hiring a High Voltage Test Technician to perform high-voltage testing of production assemblies, subsystems and components for its fusion generators. The technician reports to the Production Manager and works with design engineers, test engineers and production technicians to validate system performance and improve test execution.
Responsibilities: Set up, configure and run high-voltage tests on production assemblies and prototypes, operating test equipment, control panels and data acquisition systems to defined procedures. Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues during testing, document findings and escalate anomalies to engineers. Follow high-voltage safety protocols and the defined handling and grounding standards. Support repair, development, maintenance and calibration of test fixtures, record test data accurately, take part in post-test reviews and process improvements, and occasionally assist with prototype or experimental testing.
Requirements: Three to five years of experience in electronics or manufacturing test environments. Familiarity with electrical systems and high-voltage safety practices, a proven ability to execute detailed test procedures safely and efficiently, and hands-on experience with test setup, troubleshooting and electrical measurement tools.
Working arrangements: This is an onsite, first-shift role in Everett, Washington, working 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
