Oklo is hiring a Facility Compliance Lead to establish programs and records demonstrating compliance across DOE- and NRC-regulated facilities. The work translates licensing commitments into executable administrative and operational practices.
Responsibilities: Build configuration-management, corrective-action, records and reporting programs. Maintain compliance matrices and commitment tracking, prepare routine and event-based reporting, and coordinate audits, inspections and regulator interactions. Resolve program gaps with engineering, operations, licensing and quality teams.
Requirements: A bachelor's in engineering, science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience. Demonstrated DOE and/or NRC framework experience, such as 10 CFR Parts 50, 52, 70 or 830 and DOE Orders, is required. Candidates need experience developing or overseeing programs in nuclear or highly regulated environments, supporting audits or regulatory interactions, and maintaining compliance documentation, records and reporting. Strong written and verbal communication is essential.
Preferred experience: Establishing first-of-a-kind compliance or quality programs, advanced reactors or fuel-cycle facilities, DOE contractor assurance or NRC inspection frameworks, digital compliance and requirements-management tools, and nuclear operations, licensing or quality assurance.
Working arrangements: Remote staff must visit Santa Clara headquarters twice per quarter. Onboarding requires two weeks in Santa Clara. Export controls may limit eligibility to U.S. persons; offers depend on necessary authorizations. Employment may require drug screening and subsequent testing. A résumé and cover letter are required.
