Role
Oklo is hiring a Facility Operations Manager to oversee daily operations at its Idaho Radioisotopes Laboratory. The role coordinates maintenance, radiological, security and administrative activities supporting isotope production and laboratory work.
Responsibilities: Lead work planning, readiness, logistics and maintenance coordination. Oversee contractors, facility upgrades, clean-room and HVAC modifications, material accountability and operational records. Support commissioning, emergency preparedness, inspections and corrective actions while maintaining industrial safety and radiological controls.
Requirements: A bachelor's in engineering, operations management, industrial technology, nuclear engineering, chemistry, health physics or a related technical discipline; equivalent operational experience may be considered. At least 10 years supporting industrial, nuclear, radiological, manufacturing or related technical operations is required. Candidates need multidisciplinary coordination experience, operational safety and maintenance-planning knowledge, and experience with procedures, work-control systems and facility documentation. Leadership, organization and communication skills are essential.
Preferred experience: Isotope facilities, nuclear laboratories, commissioning or readiness programs, facility upgrades, contractor oversight, industrial safety, radiological controls, quality assurance, material-handling equipment, and project or operations leadership.
Working arrangements: This position is onsite in Idaho Falls. Travel to headquarters or another designated location twice per quarter is required. Onboarding requires two weeks in Santa Clara. Export controls may limit eligibility to U.S. persons; offers depend on necessary authorizations. Employment may require drug screening and subsequent testing. A résumé and cover letter are required.
