Role
Oklo is hiring a Facility Operations Specialist to support daily work at its Idaho Radioisotopes Laboratory. This cross-functional role assists operators and facility management with operations, maintenance, radiation protection, security and logistics.
Responsibilities: Perform assigned operational and maintenance tasks, support material receipt and inventory accountability, and assist with equipment installations and facility upgrades. Conduct radiological surveys, contamination monitoring and access-control duties as trained. Maintain records and required qualifications, operate material-handling equipment within training requirements, and respond to emerging conditions under operations leadership.
Requirements: A high-school diploma or equivalent, the ability to perform onsite physical work including standing and lifting, and the ability to support operational, radiological, security and administrative functions. Forklift or material-handling experience, or the ability to qualify, is required.
Preferred experience: Technical training, an associate degree or equivalent experience, previous radioisotope research/test facility work, and project-management experience. Organization and clear technical communication are valued.
Working arrangements: This position is onsite in Idaho Falls. Travel to headquarters or another designated location twice per quarter is required. Onboarding requires two weeks in Santa Clara. Export controls may limit eligibility to U.S. persons; offers depend on necessary authorizations. Employment may require drug screening and subsequent testing. A résumé and cover letter are required.
