Oklo is hiring a Facility Operations Specialist to support readiness and daily operations at its Groves Facility in Lockhart, Texas. The role provides hands-on support across maintenance, logistics, work control and designated radiation-protection and security activities.
Responsibilities: Assist with equipment rounds, inspections, installation, material receipt and inventory tracking. Coordinate contractors, maintain work records and support abnormal-condition response. Radiation-protection, security and equipment-operation duties are performed only when trained, qualified and authorized under the accountable program owner.
Requirements: A high-school diploma or equivalent, plus facility-maintenance, equipment-installation, construction-support or contractor-coordination experience. Candidates need knowledge of mechanical and electrical facility systems, procedural and recordkeeping skills, and the ability to stand, walk, lift and work around industrial equipment. Forklift/material-handling experience or the ability to qualify, cross-functional teamwork and required ongoing qualifications are essential.
Preferred experience: Technical training, an associate degree or equivalent experience; nuclear, DOE, national-laboratory or high-hazard facilities; radiation-worker or security support; material-handling qualifications; and logistics, work-control or facility-readiness experience.
Working arrangements: This position is onsite at the Groves Facility. Travel to headquarters or another designated location twice per quarter is required. Onboarding requires two weeks in Santa Clara. Export controls may limit eligibility to U.S. persons; offers depend on necessary authorizations. Employment may require drug screening and subsequent testing. A résumé and cover letter are required.
