Oklo is hiring a Licensing Manager to support reactor licensing from pre-application work through application submission and review. The role connects evolving engineering designs with U.S. nuclear regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities: Prepare licensing documents and programs, manage submission schedules and review design changes. Coordinate with regulators and engineering teams, defend licensing positions when existing requirements need adaptation, and lead resolution of strategic licensing issues. Present technical positions to internal and external organizations.
Requirements: Oklo identifies an accredited engineering BS as a qualification indicator and allows experience to qualify. Candidates should bring coordination skills, Microsoft Office proficiency, strong technical writing, presentations and interpersonal communication. Knowledge of 10 CFR Parts 50 and 52 and NRC guidance is sought, together with the ability to coordinate complex projects, translate regulatory decisions into deliverables and reconcile competing design constraints.
Working arrangements: Remote staff must visit Santa Clara headquarters twice per quarter. Onboarding requires two weeks in Santa Clara. Offers depend on satisfying applicable export controls, including necessary authorizations. Employment may require drug screening and subsequent testing. A résumé and cover letter are required.
