Oklo is hiring a Systems Engineer, Requirements and Integration to make requirements traceable, verifiable and usable across multidisciplinary engineering work. The position overview seeks 3–5 years of dedicated requirements-management experience in regulated industries.
Responsibilities: Lead the configuration and use of Flow Engineering. Develop requirement hierarchies, traceability matrices and verification plans with design, analysis and regulatory teams. Train colleagues in Flow and systems thinking, define interfaces with system owners, and manage requirements change control and configuration management throughout the design lifecycle.
Requirements: A bachelor's degree in a technical field such as nuclear, mechanical or aerospace engineering. The stated minimum is 3+ years in requirements management for complex engineering systems, alongside strong communication, organization and collaboration across diverse technical teams. Structured, hierarchical thinking and attention to detail are important competencies.
Preferred experience: Systems-engineering or requirements-management tools, including configuration, customization and end-user support; an advanced engineering or systems-engineering degree; familiarity with INCOSE standards and experience applying model-based systems engineering principles. Highly regulated industry experience, including aerospace, nuclear, automotive or defense, is also listed as a bonus despite appearing in the position overview.
Working arrangements: Remote employees travel to Santa Clara headquarters twice per quarter based on team/business needs; the application also allows another designated company location. The first two weeks of onboarding are in person in Santa Clara.
