TerraPower is hiring a Project Manager, Equipment Delivery Management to coordinate critical equipment packages between project teams and Supply Chain. The manager monitors milestones, owns cost-account performance and escalates delivery problems early.
Responsibilities include enforcing delivery plans and recovery schedules, coordinating factory acceptance testing, qualification, commissioning and turnover, and maintaining performance-measurement baselines. The manager validates supplier earned-value claims, develops estimates at completion, controls scope and budget changes, reviews supplier coordination requests and tracks equipment-delivery risks.
Requirements include a bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, supply chain or a related technical discipline and at least ten years in project management, supply-chain oversight or equipment delivery on major capital programs. Demonstrated cost-account management or earned-value management system experience is required. Candidates need EV metric calculation, estimate-at-completion and variance-analysis knowledge, supply-chain and contract-administration understanding, procurement change control and integrated master-scheduling familiarity. ANSI/ANS 3.1 education and experience criteria apply.
Nuclear, energy, defense or heavy-industrial capital-project experience is strongly preferred. The application specifically asks about personally holding cost-account responsibility, establishing performance baselines and developing estimates using earned-value metrics.
Travel is 0–10%. Physical duties include prolonged sitting, stairs and lifting up to 25 pounds, with accommodations assessed individually. Export-control review applies, and hiring may depend on timely government authorization.
