TerraPower is hiring a Fabrication Oversight Representative to observe and report on supplier fabrication for Natrium. The representative provides independent oversight at supplier facilities and coordinates technical and commercial teams.
Responsibilities include checking fabrication travelers, inspection reports and weld records, confirming current shop documentation, monitoring schedule progress and supporting quality hold points. The representative coordinates technical reviews, reports discrepancies, reviews final data packages and verifies packaging, markings and loading for shipment.
Requirements include a technical degree or equivalent training and experience and at least ten years of supplier-oversight experience. Mechanical, electrical, chemical, nuclear, systems or civil engineering disciplines are preferred. Candidates need fabrication and welding-process knowledge, supplier-project direction against contract scopes, manufacturing-supplier interfaces, commercial relationship support, engineering coordination and a broad understanding of ASME and AWS codes. UL 508A control-assembly familiarity is preferred. The application also asks about nuclear experience.
