TerraPower is hiring a Project Engineer – Deployment Engineering to connect site, fabrication and home-office engineering for Natrium. The role ensures requests and technical information reach the right teams and that engineering issues are tracked through resolution.
The engineer manages requests for information and nonconformance-report tracking, monitors response commitments and coordinates documented dispositions with engineering and quality teams. Responsibilities include removing handoff bottlenecks, improving cross-organizational workflows, maintaining status reports and using Jira and Power BI to track actions to closure.
Requirements include a bachelor's degree in engineering, project management or a related field and at least five years in project engineering, project coordination or a related role. Candidates need cross-organizational experience, complex-workflow management, deadline discipline and strong communication and relationship-building skills. Familiarity with Jira, Power BI and Confluence is expected. ANSI/ANS 3.1 education and experience criteria apply.
Nuclear or related heavy-industry experience and familiarity with TerraPower processes are preferred. The application additionally asks about an engineering degree or equivalent from an ABET-accredited institution, although the description also accepts project-management degrees.
The application asks candidates to work onsite in Bellevue under company requirements. Travel is 10%.
