TerraPower is hiring a Senior Manager, Fuel and Material Supplied Equipment Group, Procurement within Natrium Supply Chain. Reporting to the Natrium Director, Fuel Equipment, the manager leads Equipment Supply Managers delivering equipment and logistics for the fuel program.
The role coordinates reactor core components, raw materials, non-fuel assemblies and prototypic fuel-development components with Fuel Supply & Development. Responsibilities include HALEU facility contract oversight, supplier selection and performance monitoring, and tracking cost, schedule, quality and safety. The manager reviews statements of work and project plans and coordinates Finance, Legal, Procurement, Quality and Facilities to maintain procedural compliance and contract fidelity.
A technical degree is required, preferably in mechanical, electrical, chemical, nuclear, systems or civil engineering. The employer specifies 10–20 years of supplier-interaction experience and requires project-controls experience, organization and supporting tools and processes. Candidates need supplier-management skills in design and manufacturing, commercial and contractual relationship experience, and technical interfaces with engineering groups. Understanding how mechanical, electrical and nuclear disciplines interrelate is important.
Three to five years of related management experience is preferred. Starting level depends on qualifications. Remote work is offered in the United States, with travel up to 50%. Physical duties include prolonged sitting or standing, stairs and lifting up to 25 pounds, with accommodations assessed individually. U.S. export-control review applies to applicants.
