TerraPower Isotopes is hiring a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist to support actinium-225 production at its Everett manufacturing facility. The specialist reports to the Quality Assurance Manager and leads quality initiatives supporting current Good Manufacturing Practice production.
Responsibilities include reviewing batch records and Certificates of Analysis for product disposition, approving deviations, change controls, corrective and preventive actions and complaints, and improving procedures. The specialist leads audits, qualifies suppliers, supports equipment and process validation, and implements quality systems and training. Data integrity under ALCOA+ and 21 CFR Part 11 must be balanced with radiation safety.
Requirements include a bachelor's degree in life sciences, engineering or a related field, or equivalent qualification through experience. Candidates need at least eight years in regulated production, including at least three years in Quality Assurance, demonstrated quality-systems experience and experience with FDA/cGMP 21 CFR 210/211 and ICH-compliant programs. Regulatory interpretation, complex-project management, cross-functional leadership, technical writing and executive reporting are expected.
Radiopharmaceutical production experience is preferred. Pharmaceutical-quality certification, Lean Six Sigma or project-management training or certification is a plus.
Travel is 5–10%, and occasional evening or weekend work may support production or project deliverables. Physical duties include prolonged sitting, stairs and lifting up to 25 pounds, with accommodations assessed individually. Export-control review applies, and hiring may depend on timely government authorization.
