TerraPower is hiring a Supply Chain Manager, Supplied Equipment Group to lead engineered-equipment sourcing and delivery for major capital projects. The manager owns the supply strategy from supplier selection through contracting, fabrication, logistics and delivery to site.
Responsibilities include equipment-category roadmaps, make-or-buy decisions, long-lead planning and supplier qualification. The manager leads buyers and supply specialists, directs commercial negotiations, monitors cost, quality and schedule, and manages recovery plans, contract changes and claims. Work also includes coordinating delivery with construction readiness, resolving equipment nonconformances and maintaining procurement audit trails.
A bachelor's degree in engineering, supply-chain management or a related field is required. The employer describes typical experience as eight or more years in supply chain, strategic sourcing, project management or procurement, with at least three years in people leadership or a team-lead role. Significant capital-equipment package experience, complex supplier-contract management, fabrication and technical-documentation knowledge, negotiation, schedule integration and risk management are expected. ERP/procurement-system proficiency and strong analytical and Excel skills are required.
CPSM, PMP or CSCP certification is a plus. The application also asks about nuclear-industry project-management or supply-chain experience.
