Role

The Nuclear Company is hiring a Document Controller for engineering and construction documentation on a large infrastructure project. The role manages the project Common Data Environment and coordinates document-control practices with contractor and vendor teams.

Responsibilities: Maintain the electronic document management system and train project users. Manage transmittals, review and comment-resolution workflows, revisions, numbering conventions, metadata and classification. Provide current drawings, specifications and procedures, support redlines and as-builts, prepare work packages and archive records. Audit system use and work with IT and stakeholders to keep documents and data secure.

Requirements: Three to five years of document-control experience on large engineering, construction or infrastructure projects. Candidates need knowledge of document-control practices and software, Microsoft 365, engineering/construction terminology and processes, numbering and metadata standards, and records retention and disposition.

Preferred experience: Understanding of NRC/DOE regulatory frameworks, NQA-1, ISO 9001 and electronic-record standards.

Eligibility: For export-control compliance, applicants must be U.S. citizens, U.S. lawful permanent residents, protected individuals under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain required U.S. Department of State authorizations.
