Role
The Nuclear Company is hiring a Manager, Project Controls to oversee planning, scheduling, cost, risk and change-management processes for major projects. The role leads and mentors a project-controls team to support consistent project delivery.
Responsibilities: Apply project-controls frameworks and consistent methodologies. Lead detailed schedule and resource planning, critical-path analysis, budgets and variance monitoring. Manage risk responses, earned-value measurement and stakeholder reporting. Govern changes to scope, schedule and budget, and improve controls processes and tools.
Requirements: A bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management or a related field and at least eight years of progressive project-controls or project-management experience, preferably in nuclear or large EPC environments. Candidates need a record of complex-project delivery and cost management, leadership and analytical skills, and proficiency in industry project-management software. Knowledge of project-controls standards and the ability to meet demanding deadlines are required.
Preferred experience: PMP or equivalent certification and use of AI, machine learning or advanced analytics for forecasting, schedule optimization, earned value, variance analysis or reporting.
Eligibility: For export-control compliance, applicants must be U.S. citizens, U.S. lawful permanent residents, protected individuals under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain required U.S. Department of State authorizations.
