Role

The Nuclear Company is hiring a Manager, Project Risk Management to lead a consistent risk framework across its project portfolio, connecting project-level exposure with enterprise reporting. The role reports to the Director of Project Controls and works with project teams and senior leaders.

Responsibilities: Develop risk governance, project registers, key risk indicators and portfolio dashboards. Lead periodic assessments, workshops and scenario planning using qualitative and quantitative methods. Roll project risks into enterprise categories, monitor response plans and control effectiveness, and promote risk awareness through training and communication.

Requirements: A bachelor’s degree and 8–12 years in risk management, internal audit, compliance or consulting. Candidates need deep understanding of COSO ERM and ISO 31000, experience with both qualitative and quantitative risk-assessment techniques, strong facilitation and executive-influence skills, and the ability to turn complex information into actionable analysis.

Preferred experience: An advanced degree such as an MBA, JD or MS in Risk Management; risk systems and dashboards; nuclear industry experience; implementation of INPO 15-011; and AI-enabled contract lifecycle and analytics tools.

Eligibility: For export-control compliance, applicants must be U.S. citizens, U.S. lawful permanent residents, protected individuals under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain required U.S. Department of State authorizations.
