Role
The Nuclear Company is hiring a Project Manager for development work through the Front-End Loading (FEL) stage-gate process. The role owns scope, schedule, cost and risk across land, licensing, permitting, interconnection, engineering, environmental, finance, legal and commercial workstreams, serving as the accountable contact for the project sponsor.
Responsibilities: Own integrated schedules, milestones, the Project Execution Plan, charter, risk register and executive summaries. Resolve dependencies and drive risk mitigations. Assemble and present gate packages, manage approved budgets, estimates and contingency, and analyze schedule and decision scenarios for executives.
Requirements: A bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business or a related technical field. Candidates need 8+ years managing large capital projects, including 3+ years in early-phase development or FEL/FEED, and experience leading multidisciplinary teams in a stage-gate framework. Knowledge of CPM scheduling, AACE estimate classification, risk and change control is required, alongside executive writing, Primavera P6 or MS Project, and advanced Excel.
Preferred experience: Nuclear development, licensing or construction; NRC framework familiarity; PMP/PgMP or equivalent certification; an advanced degree; utility-scale generation, interconnection, siting/land assembly; and AACE practices.
Eligibility: For export-control compliance, applicants must be U.S. citizens, U.S. lawful permanent residents, protected individuals under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain required U.S. Department of State authorizations.
