TNC Services is hiring a Senior Manager, Reactor Services to lead commercial nuclear outage and maintenance work. The role combines technical execution, team leadership, utility relationships and business development.
Responsibilities: Lead refueling support, vessel inspections, internals maintenance, diagnostics and field services. Prepare scopes, work packages, schedules, staffing and budgets, supervise technicians and subcontractors, and maintain training and qualifications. Ensure NRC, quality, radiological and customer compliance while developing proposals and service opportunities.
Requirements: A bachelor’s degree in nuclear or mechanical engineering, power plant or engineering technology, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent education and relevant industry experience. Candidates need 10+ years in reactor services, refueling outages, reactor maintenance, nuclear operations or related nuclear services, and 5+ years of leadership or project management overseeing technical teams, outages or field operations. Established U.S. commercial nuclear relationships, demonstrated business-development success, reactor-system/code knowledge, technical-document interpretation and complex outage management are required.
Preferred experience: Navy nuclear experience, ALARA/radiological work, reactor inspection or internals tooling, ASME XI/EPRI/INPO familiarity, PMP or equivalent project-management experience, and multisite team leadership.
Working arrangements: Remote with at least 50% travel, including extended outage assignments. Shift work, extended hours or on-call support may be needed. Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain plant unescorted access, stand, climb, lift up to 50 pounds and work in industrial/radiological environments, following PPE and dosimetry protocols. During outage or field travel, base salary converts to its hourly equivalent with overtime eligibility for applicable hours.
