Responsibilities cover health physics and radiation protection program work including ALARA principles, NRC, OSHA, and state regulatory compliance, dosimetry, air sampling, effluent surveys, radiological permitting, hazard analyses, preliminary hazard analysis (PHA) and integrated safety analysis (ISA) support, inspections, and workforce training.
Qualifications require a B.S. in a science or engineering discipline, with Level III candidates bringing 5 years and Level IV candidates 10 years of relevant experience, plus working knowledge of MCNP and Microshield; travel is approximately 10%. Stated compensation is Level III base salary $112,875–$149,625 and Level IV base salary $139,125–$186,375.
