Inertia Enterprises laser fusion plant

Inertia Enterprises, founded in 2024 by Twilio co-founder Jeff Lawson with NIF scientists Annie Kritcher and Mike Dunne, plans a laser inertial fusion power plant based on LLNL's NIF ignition physics. It raised a $450 million Series A in February 2026 and intends to begin plant construction in 2030.
