A proposed USD 1.38bn commercial laser enrichment plant by Laser Isotope Separation Technologies (LIST) on the former K-25 gaseous diffusion footprint in Oak Ridge, using its CRISLA infrared-laser process. LIST holds a Tennessee radioactive materials licence for UF6 testing and targets initial commercial operation before 2030, subject to NRC licensing and a final investment decision.
