Urenco's Dutch centrifuge enrichment site at Almelo, with about 5,100 tSWU/yr of capacity. Urenco is adding about 1.5 million SWU in two stages: a 750,000 SWU first stage due online from 2027 and a second 750,000 SWU centrifuge hall approved in October 2025 and expected from 2030.

Notes

Capacity 5,100 tSW/a per Urenco site pages and IPFM (Jan 2025); one Urenco Nederland page lists 5,000 tSW/a. Target ~6,600 tSWU by 2030 is IPFM's sum of current capacity plus two 750 tSWU stages. Plants SP4 and SP5 operate; SP5 provides >80% of capacity (Urenco site page via search snippet). The Aug 2026 milestone is a management change, the most recent site-specific Urenco item found.
