Soviet-era start (1986); halted 1990 (~75-80% complete per Energoatom). Status remains suspended amid the war. The Bulgaria equipment route collapsed in April 2025; Energoatom (Oct 2025) insists units 3&4 can be finished without it, while Westinghouse AP1000 work proceeds at units 5&6. No resumption date; no COD estimate.
