Takahama Unit 1

Takahama 1 is a 780 MWe (net) Kansai Electric PWR that began operating in 1974, Japan's oldest operating reactor. It restarted in July 2023 after twelve and a half years offline and in 2024 received approval to operate beyond 50 years.
