Takahama Unit 2

Takahama 2 is a 780 MWe (net) Kansai Electric PWR that restarted in September 2023 after a 12-year halt, completing the return of all seven Kansai reactors cleared under the post-Fukushima rules. It is operating and resumed commercial operation after an inspection in July 2026.
