Bangladesh newcomer program. End-August 2026 grid connection target MISSED: fuel loading (all 163 assemblies) completed May 2026, but two of three PORV safety valves failed automatic-open tests; each repair/retest cycle takes ~1.5 months (New Age, Prothom Alo, TBS, Energy Bangla, Sep 2026). Minister declined a revised date; Q4 2026 grid connection is an inference — commercial operation likely 2027 if commissioning resumes in Q4.
