Notes
Outlier: ~8.8 years, driven by alkali-silica reaction (ASR) concrete degradation; NRC News Release 19-013: 'The renewal review accounted for the discovery of a rare concrete degradation issue, "alkali-silica reaction" at Seabrook ... The NRC approved the amendment on March 11.' News Release 19-013 says NextEra 'submitted the renewal application in May 2010'; the NRC page and status table say received 06/01/10. Used 2010-06-01 (received date). Contested: hearing petitions filed in 2010 (ASLB established; notice of hearing Oct 2011). At issuance: 'No adjudicatory matters are pending before the Commission or the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board regarding the Seabrook license renewal application.' Dates for the 2010 acceptance FRN and ASLB notice come from FR index metadata and the NRC page; those 2010 FR texts were listed but not read in full. NRC decision target: originally not published, latest 2019-03-12. Schedule: NRC page lists an Original Schedule Letter (July 13, 2010) and 12 revised schedule letters (May 12, 2011 through March 31, 2016). Original target date not read (letters not fetched).
