Notes
Uncontested: issuance FR notice says 'There were no petitions to intervene filed for the Surry subsequent license renewal application.' The ~11-month delay after the final SEIS was caused by the state CZMA concurrence (an external dependency), not NRC review; NRC page: 'the licenses could not be issued until such a concurrence was completed by the State.' The NRC's '18-month review time' for a June 2020 target is consistent with counting from docketing (Dec 2018), not from submittal. Not among the plants affected by the Feb 2022 Commission GEIS orders (issued before them). NRC decision target: originally 2020-06, latest 2021-05. Schedule: Original target June 2020 ('an 18-month review time'); revised to 05/2021 because the Coastal Zone Management Act consistency concurrence had not been obtained.
