Biblis Nuclear Power Plant (Units A and B)

Active dismantling · Germany · Immediate dismantling

RWE has been dismantling the two Biblis PWRs on the Rhine since 2017, after both were shut down in 2011. The last of the site's four cooling towers fell on 16 January 2026, and RWE has floated the site as a future laser-fusion campus with Focused Energy.
