Brokdorf Nuclear Power Plant (KBR)

Brokdorf, a 1,410 MWe PWR on the Elbe, shut on 31 December 2021 and was the last German plant to receive a dismantling permit, in October 2024. PreussenElektra plans about 15 years of work, aiming to finish by the mid-2030s and build a large battery storage plant on the site.
