Nuclear Decommissioning Tracker

Obrigheim Nuclear Power Plant (KWO)

Site restoration · Germany · Immediate dismantling

Obrigheim, West Germany's first commercial PWR (1968-2005), has been dismantled by EnBW since 2008 and nearly all components are gone from the turbine hall and reactor building. Clearance measurements are under way, and EnBW now expects to finish in 2030 after logistics delays.
