Philippsburg Nuclear Power Plant (KKP 1 and 2)

EnBW is dismantling the Philippsburg site on a Rhine island: BWR Unit 1 (shut 2011) since 2017 and PWR Unit 2 (shut end-2019) since 2020. Unit 1's reactor vessel has been removed and its containment shell is being cut up; all spent fuel is in the on-site interim store.
