Notes

CA01 super module installed 2026-07-21 (single-source: CGN via WNN). WNN states both Lufeng CAP1000 units scheduled to begin operating in 2030 — earlier than baseline 2031; COD set to 2030 as latest operator-adjacent statement but flagged for re-verification against official CGN schedule. No Aug-Sep 2026 milestone found.

Milestone log

  • 2025-12 — First concrete poured (NEI Jan 2026 and NucNet June 2026 reporting), consistent with baseline construction start 2025 (source)
  • 2026-06-16 — Listed as under construction in the WNA world table, grid connection estimated 2031 (source)
  • 2026-07-21 — CA01 'super module' (>950 t, 26x29x23 m, 47 sub-modules) installed, advancing reactor building into new phase of nuclear-island structure construction (source)

The milestone log is append-only: corrections are recorded as new entries, never rewrites. Full history via /api/v1/changes.
